If you install a home charging station for electric cars, you can benefit from a tax reduction for expenses incurred between September 1st, 2021 and August 31, 2024.
The tax reduction varies from 45% to 15% of the expenses (capped at 1,500 euros), depending on the year in which the expenses were incurred. It concerns expenses for the purchase of a new charging station, its installation and the control of the installation.

The charging station must:
- be installed in or near your home, and
- be a smart charger: charging time and capacity must be transmitted by an energy management system, and
- use only green electricity, and
- be approved by an accredited inspection agency.
